EU private retirement savings

Project private retirement savings in euros with monthly contributions, return assumptions, fees and inflation. See both nominal savings and estimated purchasing power.

Your scenario

Method and limitations

Net annual growth factor = (1 + annual return) × (1 − annual asset fee). Convert this effective factor to a monthly rate. Add the combined contribution at each month end. Today’s-money values divide by cumulative assumed inflation. Contributions stay flat in nominal terms. Returns are constant scenarios, not forecasts; no tax, contribution room or benefit eligibility is calculated.

This tool uses arithmetic scenario assumptions rather than a statutory pension formula.

Model a private savings scenario in euros

This general projection can help compare assumptions across euro-denominated savings plans. It does not apply a country’s pension tax rules, contribution deductions or public benefit formula. Use your national provider’s statement for statutory pension amounts.

Worked example

A EUR 1,000 balance plus EUR 100 monthly reaches EUR 2,200 in one year at zero return and zero fees.
